U.S.

Today I sat and looked through the posts on Facebook. As I scrolled through, I noticed people having a good day, people having a bad day. I spotted sadness, brokenness, the lost, the fear, the confused, the givers, the takers, the selfish, the prideful, and the humble. I then came along some posts of what is going on in this country. I saw the fires, the floods, the violence, the hate, and the hurt. I then caught a glimpse of the love, the help, the kindness, and the hope.

The reason I am writing this is because I started to think on how this country was founded, why it was founded, and for whom it was founded. This is merely just my opinion and is in all actuality very irrelevant to many people. However, I feel it very important to share it. I hear a lot of they, them, their, how come they didn’t, how could they, and why did they?

I am sorry but United means: made one, joined together, being in agreement (Merriam, Webster Dictionary). WE are far from united. I feel like WE have failed to follow through on what WE started all those many years ago. If you live in the United States then you are a part of this. That is why I keep saying WE, including me. WE can all do something. I love my country but at this time in life, I am ashamed of it. WE put on our money In God WE trust but how many of US really trust in GOD? How many of US really know Him or have shared Him and His word which proclaims the tragedies that will happen and what we are to do in these times.

WE say in our pledge of allegiance ONE NATION UNDER GOD. How are WE under a God WE don’t serve, don’t trust and don’t believe in? I can sit here and continue to question this, but, I didn’t. I PRAYED instead to the GOD I trust, the GOD who gave me this life in this nation that is now crumbling just as His word said it would. I then prayed for you, for ALL of you, for US. Take all of the letters except the first in both out of the United States and you have US. That’s right! WE are US. Not them and they and their or even I. WE are all in this; all just as equally responsible and all unfortunately suffering for one another.

I am not shocked at all of the disasters that are happening. But I am heart broken and sad and have cried a lot because of what is happening to US. I, like you, question what am I, one person, able to do? Well I think,for one, I can stop adding to it and so can you. I can pray. WE can pray as a nation. I can truly, with all my heart, TRUST IN GOD, and I can ask of my United States of American citizens to see that now is the time to REPENT for OUR nation. Please share this and please help your neighbor, love your neighbor. Your neighbor is your brother and your sister if not by blood, then by spirit. And;

please Pray, as I will continue to pray for US.

Jeremiah 16:19 NKJV

O Lord, my strength and my fortress, My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You From the ends of the earth and say, “Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.”

1 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all [a]speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Galatians 3:26-28 NKJV

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
